On 23rd January, Dorman Smith Switchgear WLL held its annual award seminar in the UAE, bringing together our panel building partners and contractors to recognise and celebrate another year of shared success.

The event was attended by Antony Curtis, CEO & Director of Dorman Smith UK, and Neil Bloomfield, Operations Manager, who joined the Dubai team in acknowledging the strong performance and continued growth achieved across the region.

Opening the seminar, Antony welcomed guests on behalf of the Dorman Smith organisation and expressed appreciation for the valued partnerships and long-standing relationships that have contributed to sustained growth. He recognised the vital role played by both our loyal partners and the management and employees of DSS Dubai in achieving these results.

The programme included a technical presentation delivered by Ganesh Gopalakrishna, General Manager of Dorman Smith Dubai, highlighting a fully certified Power Factor Correction (PFC) system and demonstrating the technical strength of our regional offering.

The event continued with the presentation of awards to our partners in recognition of their commitment and contribution throughout the year. The seminar concluded with closing remarks from PK Ramakrishnan, Executive Director.
